My Personal Experience:
I most recently was the Senior Digital Communications Coordinator at Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington. I was a pivotal player in building and executing a robust digital content strategy, using email, website and social media platforms to further the chapter’s programmatic, brand and fundraising goals in collaboration with the marketing communications team. Along with this I was a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Taskforce, a member of planning committees and was inspired daily by the life-changing work done thanks to the incredible community, phenomenal co-workers and the resilient wish children and families we serve.
Prior to Make-A-Wish, I was the Director of Social Media Marketing at Tony's Steaks and Seafood. I was responsible for communications for all three locations. This entailed developing and maintaining a social calendar, responding to all guest questions/concerns and keeping all information up to date (holiday hours, etc.) and design and copy write newsletters and e-blast; I also handled new marketing opportunities for all locations. Responsible for videography and photography with a focus on, wine dinners, dinner specials, specialty cocktails and marketing photography.

I was a manager at the Silver Spring House. I was responsible for overseeing the employees and ensuring our compliance with sanitary and safety regulations. I was also responsible for day to day front and back of house operations. Most of the day to day operations included keeping the restaurant's good image up by assisting in the kitchen, running food, answering phone calls and helping other employees. As a manager at the Silver Spring House it was important to be a 'Jack of All Trades' in order to keep everything running smoothly.

In October of 2016, I began at GE Aviation as a Communications Specialist, primarily responsible for internal and external video messaging while assisting in setting studios and natural environments for shoots, lights, cameras, etc. Most content included CEO messages but I also worked with external organizations like the March of Dimes foundation to create impactful videos related to GE employees.
